Rotten Crystal Sword is a Straight Sword that scale primarily with strength, dexterity and intelligence. It can inflict Scarlet Rot buildup, combined with spinning slash skill to easily staggers enemies, makes it a viable choice for Strength builds focused on applying Scarlet Rot effect to the enemy.
PROS
- It Fast, It has Scarlet Rot Buildup By Default also deal both magic and physical damage
- I like the Spinning Slash skill because it can create good amount of poise damage to stagger the enemy and can rapidly increase Scarlet Rot Buildup, so wearing Dagger Talisman and Kindred of Rot’s Exultation is recommended to increase it’s potential.
CONS
- It has Short Reach, forcing you into close-quarters combat
- it’s also has Moderate stamina skill consumption, so investing enough Endurance in your status is recomended to perform additioal follow up attack.
- It Can be obtain in late game area, so you’ll need to progress through the game for a while.
