Elden Ring DLC – Great Katana / Wild Strike Build Guide & Showcase / DEX

Great Katana is a weapon that scale primarily with Strength and Dexterity. What i like the most about this weapon is it’s reach, stance damage and the infusability. Combine with wild strike ash of war to unleash a continuous attacks, make this a great weapon for dexterity and strength build that you can get early to inject blood lost build up.

PROS

• It has Bleed build up by default.
• It can be infused with Ashes of War and buffed with Magic and Consumables.
• The weapon range also pretty Good, allowing you to hit enemy from a safer distance.
• It can deal decent Stance Damage to stagger the enemy
• It can be obtain Early in the dlc area.

Combine with wild strike ash of war you can initiate a series of rapid swings with your weapon, allowing you to unleash a continuous attacks against enemies within range and do follow-up attacks with normal or strong attack.

CONS

• This weapon has a slow attack speed, this makes you vulnerable after each swing, so it’s recommended to have good defense on your character, such as by wearing Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman or consume Opaline Hardtear for your survivability.
